We are in an economic recession, and many of us wonder how we will make it through. Everyone has their own story and their own problems.
There are some basic tips that will help us all during an economic recession, please read on.
Live within your means.
If you have not done so already, sit with your family and let them know your plans. You will be trying to save money, as a family and the "extras" will be cut for now. In an Economic recession you must get what you need and eliminate any wants. The kids will understand and learn a great life lesson at the same time.
If you are lucky enough to have a job during this economic recession, make sure to keep it. Arrive at work everyday on time. Give 100% or more and greet customers with a smile. Try to be the best employee you can be. Jobs are far and few between, so if you still have one feel blessed.
Get your spouse involved. See if your spouse can find a job or ways to make money during the recession. If they need to be home with the kids, there are plenty of ways to make money from home.
Prepare for harder times ahead.
Maybe you will be blessed and the recession will not effect you much, but try to save money in case you get laid off or lose your job. If you can save 6 months of salary, you are steps ahead of many others.
The economic recession will be over at some point, but it certainly has taught us many lessons. Be smart and you will survive.

How to Get out of Debt Fast
You are in Debt and are wondering how you let things get this bad.
The world today is so different than it was even 20 years ago. It is time to get to the basics.
The concept to get out of debt fast is easy, you just have to be open to understanding what you may have done this far has not worked. You need to clear your mind and look at your debt and how you got there a new way.
Get what you need and not what you want.
This sentence is so easy to read and there you go, keep reading on, hehe. But stop, read that again. Get what you need and NOT what you want. This honestly may sum up the problem in one sentence.
You and your spouse need to sit down and get on the same page. The house you have, is it nice and big and better than what you need? Most likely you answered yes. Problem one. If you barely come up with the mortgage every month this is a big problem. How nice would it be to get a smaller nice home that you do not need to work 50 hours a week for? What is the point of having the nice home if you are so busy working for it and you never get to spend quality time there?
Come up with a plan with your spouse to down size. Just because the lendor says you qualify for a $200,000 house does not mean that is the price range to look in. Think of how much happier you would be having a $700 a month mortgage payment.
You can get out of debt faster than you may think, if you put that plan into everything in your life.
Do you love to buy the expensive brand new car in cherry red, which is of course a convertible? Well sure, who would not like that, but again it is not necessary. To get out of debt you need to consider buying a car outright. Maybe the car is 4 years old, but runs perfect, that is the point of a car right? To drive you from one place to the next. Does looking hot driving really matter? It really does not matter what your friends think either, no reason to "Look" like you have money, when you and your spouse are at home argueing over the huge debt you are in.
Let the kids understand your plan to get out of debt fast.
Perhaps the kids believe you are a bank and they can dress like Miley Cyrus, to become debt free, the kids must be on the same page as you, and trust me, in the long run this is a good thing. Let them understand what a dollar really means. Of course get the kids what they need, but leave the wants for birthday's and Christmas. There is nothing wrong with shopping at Walmart or if they feel like they will be doomed forever without name brand clothes there is Plato's Closet, or another resale shop. get the clothes they need for a fraction of the price!
Make your plan to get out of debt fast an exciting one. Get everyone involved and stay focussed. It may not happen instantly over night, but if you have a new outlook on life and money, things will change, faster than you think!
